Queerphobia is scary—but together we can make Indiana a little less frightening for LGBTQ+ young people.
This Halloween season, I’m calling on my fellow Witches (and all allies with a little magic to spare) to join me in supporting IYG. As the longest continuously operating organization of it's kind, IYG provides safer spaces, free programs, and life-affirming support for LGBTQ+ young people ages 12–24.
But recent legislation has stripped vital funding from organizations like IYG, forcing staff reductions and threatening their ability to continue this essential work. Our young people deserve better.
That’s why I’m raising $3,100 in honor of the 31 days of Halloween—just $100 per day. Every gift helps ensure IYG can keep empowering youth and young adults, fostering community, and creating a world where they can live vibrant, fearless lives.
